Patient table:
Most of data related to patients are collected from publications. The patients are described using numbers and then anonymous.
In the UMD LSDBs, the unique ID field is used to prevent multiple inputs from the same mutation from the same patient. This field contains information about the country, the laboratory, the patient/sample ID and family ID.
Additional information include: Gender; Date of birth, Transmission; Geographic origin; Proband or Relative.
